| ANGEL TREE |
|
The Angel Tree is up, with the names of this year's families on it. The committee has done its work and it is now time for the rest of the Parish to participate. Please take an "Angel" from the tree. Further, please take a copy of the Food and Staples list for the families. These copies, as well as the instructions for the return of gifts, are on the table in the Narthex.
It is very important that all gifts, food and staples are received here at the church no later then Sunday, December 14th! See The Pathway for further information on sorting, packing and delivery to families.
If you would like to help, please contact Maggie Tindill at
908-4579 or e-mail at mtindill@gmail.com.

| ST. NICHOLAS' SUNDAY |
|
On Sunday, December 7, 2008, we will celebrate the feast of St. Nicholas in conjunction with our regular First Sunday Potluck. The children will be asked to come to the altar during announcements to hear a short story about St. Nicholas.
They will be asked to leave their shoes at the altar, then return to their pews. (You may want to bring slippers for them to wear until they get their shoes back after they eat.)
Each family is asked to bring pairs of new socks to donate to TEAM. Thus we will fill the community shoes just as St. Nicholas did so many years ago. Please contact Karen Mann with any questions 655-8918.

Thursday, December 11th, 6:30 pm
A potluck dinner (ham will be furnished, please bring a covered dish) will be followed by "Dirty Santa." The sign-up sheet is in the Narthex. Bring a friend and join us.
